Plastic vs. Aluminum Gas Tank

I have decided to add another tank under the cabin floor in place of fresh tank.

Any recommendations of Aluminum versus Plastic?

Also, my twin crusaders both require return valves. Does anyone have a sketch of valves, switches etc for this type a setup? I think a diesel setup would work b/c they also have returns.
