Randall, hear you. There used to be a deli here in BR, Sigmund's, that had the best food you ever saw. My favorite was the Mr. Sigmund Special with Durkee's sauce - a corned beef on rye with melted real swiss cheese. I went to his funeral and told him family how I'd miss him. The best chinese food me & the Bride ever ate was in London, a place on Queen's Way (Hyde Park area) called the Mandarin Kitchen. It was like Coonass food with a chinese flair. Calamari with cheese sprinkled on them for an appitizer, mussels in garlic sauce, man that was some good chow, and the dollar back then a few years ago was worth something, vs. now.

Now Salt Lake is a different town. Had some business there a few years ago and remember having to go to a closet in the restaurant to buy little airplane bottles of booze and carry them back to the table. Bizarre. Now, Mexico is also different. I was in a real estate lawyer association once that had alternating meetings in Mexico and the US, about equal numbers of lawyers from both countries. All the Mexican lawyers were super rich and when we went down there, they would rent a castle and 500 servants to feed 50 of us. Remember one time in Mexico City they rented this huge castle - think Cortez built it for his girl friend in 1511 or something - and they served the best french food we ever ate. They do not serve Mexican food in Mexico City - it's all continential food. Mexico City (D.F. to the locals, Disrict Federale) is one of the biggest cities in the world and a real nice place to visit vs. the border and tourist towns. Be careful drinking as the altitude is 10,000 ft. and a few drinks will knock you on your ass. Zona Rosa (Pink Zone) is sort of like the French Quarter in New Orleans and lots of fun.

Guess I went on and on, but I'm bored since it's 78 and raining.
