Insurance update!

I could not come to an agreement with Boat US on the agreed value of the B26. Even with all the receipts and a survey (which they requested I had to have) they would only go for 50K. Since I had 75K in receipts and a survey showing 60K, I had to search out other options.

I called the agent I had my home / Auto insurance with. He submitted my survey to Travelers and with no more questions asked, I got 60K in coverage with EPA, tackle, towing and all the other liability stuff that Boat US was offering. The premiums will be just over 1K per year with at 1200 deductable. This is not too far off what Boat US was looking like for the 50K in coverage.

The marina is lined up, insurance is on the boat and all the rods and reels have new line.
I'd be happy to refer any of you guys to my agent. He's a fishing / duck hunting buddy that I have known for almost 10 years.
