Prop scan is the best. I've used it two times already and it is cheaper over there in La. Vic. Paid a little more here. Looks like the machine shop that did my shaft the last time is going to eat the cost of replacement except my upgrading to AM 22 addition. They put in the keyway for the prop side so they going to eat it. New prop too. I'm still using the bronze but they add a little tiny bit of iron now for more strength.

Spoke with Richard Kidd at Bertram just a while ago. He got me on to some stuff called "Prop Speed" . It is a silicon spray of sorts that you spray on your props and shafts to eliminate growth. Bertram is using it now and it is available at MYD FLL 305-215-3483

Good luck and enjoyment with the new props. You just can't beat prop scan for the ultimate balance job. Costs more but worth it.

Removed my shaft with almost no effort with TefGel on it . Stuff really works but messy.
