Guys,
I am thinking about replacing the 175 fiberglass tank in the Lightning Shack with a larger aluminum tank.

What is the maximum volume that I will be able to cram into this volume?

I have the 175 cockpit tank and a 40 gallon tank below the salon floor, but I feel that if I am going to stick with gas engines for a couple more years, which my budget neccesitates, I still need another 100 to 150 more gallons to fish the water I like to fish.

Will I be able to get close to 100 more gallons in there.

Am I crazy for tearing out that wonderful fiberglass tank that performed its intended function reliably for the last 35 years, and would probably continue to do so for another 35 when diesel engines are installed.

what do you guys think?
