Rawleigh,

I am a friend who owns a machine shop, and let me tell you this.

You do not want the #'s involved in machining it out of stainless on a cnc.

We have the equipment. We can get the metal.
The cost is in the programming time, special tooling necessary to machine the stainless, the polishing time (as no matter what you do, you will not machine to a mirror finish without polishing) and the time on the Coordinate measuring machine to reverse engineer each and every part, curve and shape. In short, it would add up to big, big dollars.

I have contemplated taking mine to a foundry and having it duplicated, but not sure if even that is worthwhile...

If anyone wants, I can quote it sometime over the next few months, just for giggles...

Dug
