Went back and carefully went thru their website, and it's a scam, pure and simple. Somebody went to a helluva lot of trouble to do it, but a pure scam. All they want is your credit card # so they can draw money from you to Nigeria. Damn, if these people would just work honestly for a living they would do good.
So what are the clues you ask? #1, whoever posted it managed to jump up the thread list about 3 weeks from a post long ago and get at the head of the threads. Ever seen that before?
#2 - no address, no phone #.
#3 - bad English syntax.
#4 - shipping charges - use a vague % of order price and "may ship from multiple locations".
#5 - require you to type your EXACT credit card # and name.
#6 - warranty and return policy was written by a thrid grader with acorns in his mouth.
#7 - as mentioned before, the website "inventory" consists of nonsense part #'s and crazy prices.
Patrick, if you read this far, please leave these posts up so everyone will learn. I'll send this to our favorite G-Man for whatever action can be taken, who, by the way, was limping badly yesterday afternoon while returning my pressure washer since he had FALLEN OFF A LADDER BACKWARDS from about 8 ft. and blew his knee out. Let's wait a few days before we pummel him with phone calls and emails about being a clumsy dumb cluck.
Anyway, nice entertainment to have a hi-level crook visit us, but I'm like a good black Lab - sniff, sniff, don't pass the smell test.
