Bertram 20 Weight

Phase I of the weigh-in revealed the 1969 Bertram 20 Sportsman with trailer and 30-32 gallons of gas (full tank for winterization) to be 3875 lbs. The factory specs list the dry weight to be 2400 lbs., add approximately 200 lbs. for the fuel (6 lbs/gal?), and that leaves 1275 lbs for the trailer. Any of you guys have an estimate for the weight of a typical galvanized tandem-axle trailer (it's actually large enough for a 23' boat)? My next step is to off-load the boat and take the trailer back to the same scales and weigh it. Next the engine comes out and the outdrive off. The things we do when the boating season is over.......
