230 yanmar in 31 express

I, just recently purchased a used set of 230hp yanmars with 1.5-1 twin disc trans they are 4 years old with 560hrs I know that most of these set ups have 2-1 trans. the boat is a 1968 Bertram31 express.What kind of performance can I expect and what prop and shaft size would I have to change to if any.I know that I will have a lot more questions and from what I have gathered this board is verry helpfull.I am sure that many of you have been down the same road I am heading with great success.Thank you in advance for for any help.
