cockpit table

Got my Honduras mahogany oval cockpit table from Ron Allen down in Corpus Christi today and it is just suberb. Guy does class woodworking, and is very reasonable (in fact, cheap) at $160, tho unfinished, rivals the stuff for $2,800 I saw at the FLL show last month.

Gonna farm out the stain & varnish job on it locally as it's one of the things I do worst. I hate paint, varnish, the small of it, the drip of it. I can weld a straight bead in stainless, but no paint. Putting the treated plywood floor in the new huge Goo Boat, she's sitting outside my shop, and coming along real nice. Fixin' to rain big time here and turn cold. Saber saw switch went out so shot it with some CX and within a couple of minutes works like new. Great country we live in, and Dan I'd Rather Lie is gone.
