I was waiting for you to chime it!

I haven't seen your black hulled mini-yacht around much...

I like the blackfins. They have a heck of a lot more room both inside and on the bridge. They are a lot heavier. More flair in the bow.

I have never been on one under way, but have a friend who is a broker who has made a nice business of selling blackfins. He has one listed now that is sweet as a bowl of fresh rasberries. Full tower, riggers, new electronics, 3208 cats you could eat off of. Light use, never fished, teak all over. Great boat.

Depends on what you are looking for. I like my Bert, but if all else were equal, and you are looking for a Blackfin, go for the Liberty 42. Hell, you need to own a boat people will murmer praise or even scream it out when they walk buy. the 31 Bert will get you that, and the 42 Liberty will for sure.

Most of all, as I told a friend who is shopping hard and has been for a year, buy the boat that makes your heart leap.
