Gotta share this with the Faithful. A greenhorn lawyer that went to law school later in life - was a Navy guy, then sold heavy equipment - then came to work for me and was my right-hand man for several years doing heavy duty stuff all over the country - just decided to hang it up and go take his wife and sailboat to the Carib. for a couple of years.
Guy is Buddy Stockwell, came to work for me and ended up marrying my other senior partner's paralegal, Melissa. Buddy left us to start his own very successful law firm, and as he told me recently, "UV, if you taught me anything, it was to return my phone calls" and "the only thing worse than bad news is delayed bad news".
So Buddy and Melissa, who have no children (big head start) have decided to hang up their respecive careers, sell their house and cars, and go sail the world on thier 38' cat sail boat (which has two Yanmar diesels and a 9.5 KW Phasor for a/c, they ain't no fools, wind may die).
Both about the finest people I've ever known. Buddy has been in command of AJ in very sloppy conditions and just loved it. Remember one day we had a double hookup on Blue Suits in a T-storm and just the two of us on the FB, the other two crew were green seasick in the cabin. We looked at each other and decided to just drag the marlin around until the storm passed. Tagged and revived them both, just the two of us. He's the real thing.

We all dream of doing it, but they are for sure doing it. Give them an email and let them know that the B31 Faithful are behind them, and if they get in a real jam, we can help.
