Bill, I can't answer all of your questions, but the part about ocean Reef, I can.

Ocean Reef is a private club, but members can sponsor a guest which I would be pleased to do. There are condos and hotels available and could be rented on a daily/weekly/ monthly basis either directly through the club or less expensively directly through the individual owners of the condos. It's a pretty pricy place....I was fortunate enough to get in 20+years ago when it was (more) reasonable. Provisions for keeping a boat there would depend on where you were staying i.e. either at a dock at the residence, or the marina if staying in the hotel.

I further believe that Jim Bailey may have purchased property there and may respond to this or your post and could possibly be a solution.

I'll keep checking the site as time goes on.
