Randall - the only thing I like about winter in Coonassland is the ability to burn logs in the fireplace. I love a fire, real soothing. Bride accuses me of running the air conditioning all day so I can light a fire. Had to borrow some firewood last nite at the camp since all of ours floated away in the Great Flood a few weeks ago.

Some of the neighbors fingered your 'Legend of Bertram' book carving last night at the camp and marveled and demanded to know who the artist was. Told them it was done by a skinny yankee I met somewhere and I make him sleep in a refrigerator box at my fishing tournament. One neighbor lady replied "those artsy folks like that, gives them inspiration". She ain't never been to Port Eads, for sure.
