Punch List Help

As my marina catches up on pulling out and winterizing other boats, they soon will have time to swap out my big blocks. I want to make a list of the things I absolutely must do as part of the engine swap.

I'm a Bertram neophite and a complete newcomer to inboards. So, I'd like to run the boat for a couple of seasons and get to know her before I plan and tackle a major refit. With that in mind, what are the "must do's" for the immediate engine swap? It seems prudent to rebuild or replace the raw water pumps before the new engines (Priceless' take-outs) go in. What else?
