Hate to tell you this guy's, but the fishing is warming up off of South Pass, La. There have been three blue marlin released and lots of yellowfin in the last 4 days off the South East Louisiana coast, including a 200 to 250 # blue caught on a spinning rod. Capt. Bill Delbar was working a school of mullett 12 miles off of South Pass looking for yellowfin. He was using an an Angry Popper by Frenzy offshore tackle. He thought he saw a shark on the edge of the bait,and was quit surprised to see a billfish wacking the glow colored popper. Subdued and released the fish with 65 lb. test braided line.
