Yea Vic I can't see any real drawbacks out of these Odysessy batteries out side of the cost. I buy my 8D's for 99.95 at Sam's but they are 168 Lbs. Boy I put the auxilary one between the engine compartments in by myself. Can't say I'll be able to remove it that way without machinery.With the weight reduction a little more ballast may be necessary to even out the list. I've got one of my co workers all excited about these batteries as they are an answer to so many problems with size reduction and life expentancy. The pink potion does seem to help as my port 8D is on year 3-4 now. I finally put that solar panel to use I bought 3 years ago. Installed it up in the Tuna Tower feeding the aux battery. Used the Coonass method of installation utilizing scrapped Monel line from my Penn Trolling reel for solar panel mounting. Dave K
