Chris, it appears to have never been chromed. The two screws that hold each "ear" on were stainless which I replaced yesterday with brass. I can find no markings on it whatsoever, but it's the spittin' image of a B31 light/chock.

I'll take a pix of it right now if anyone wants to see it.
