Ive done it & had no problems launching... I havnt (& will not ) tried to de launch cause of lining up issues..
If the waters too shallow at the ramp, I was prepared to unhitch the trailer,(To keep the truck out of the salt.) & chain it to the truck .. Hey the boats gonna float so then just pull in the trailer with the chain.
