In Response To: Trailering and Launching at a ramp (ZeroCavity)

Jerry, Before I brought my 31 to Naples I use launch seasonally. I had a local build a trailer to fit the hull like a glove. Launching was not a problem, however I always had trouble re loading. The boat would always want to shift back on the trailer when pulling out seeing as there is no bow eye to tie off from. I did not like the idea of tying off from the deck cleat, bad angle for tie off line. The other issue is in my findings no two launch ramps are alike regarding ramp angle, so it is always a guessing game. Personally I gave up on the trailering idea for that boat and just bought some smaller bertrams, current count is two B20's. Soon to be three. See you in a couple weeks. Jim
