New Gauges

I am re-doing my gauges as part of a repower prject. Probably go with a digital FloScan 7000 series for hours/rpm/gph/total gallons in a single gauge.

What about the rest of the gauges? Stewart-Warner, Faria, DatCon, VDO, Teleflex, or others? Glass or Polycarb faces? Black or white? What looks appropriate, is affordable for a lowly B28 loser, and more importantly, will work for the next 30 years?

By way of background, I am a function over style kinda guy, this is not a Donzi, and the best looking boats, in my estimation, are those covered in slime and blood.

Many thanks in advance.
