Some words of thanks

What a great place to communicate!
I made a request at the wahoo dinner at the flophouse for a crew to run Extra Dry from her summer home in the Hurricaine hole (Stuart) back to Ocean Reef, and I could have sunk the boat with the volunteers. Capt Pete Fallon chaffeured Ric, Andree, Moonie and me up to Stuart on Sunday morning where we met Tom Oakes at the Hinckley boatyard. Engines were running, and once enough beer was aboard for the 6+ hr run, we were outta there.First hour was rough.....15knots....but as the day went on, the ride improved and speed increased to 21-22K. Lost a retaining clip from the throttle clevis, and almost ran over a submarine coming out of Palm Beach inlet (actually it looked like some sort of a sounding device being towed) but we did have a few chuckles.
Arrived at Ocean Reef at 3:30, took the crew for a colf cart ride around the resort, then back to the flophouse.
Thanks , guys, for your company, your assistance, and your expertise. Yes Ric, the oil has been changed, and the engine zincs replaced!
And today GW has once again been declared our leader.......the world is, indeed, good!
