chiles the last time i went to west marine to purchase ancor 10 ga. wire they wanted 15.50 for a 25' spool.i normaly paid 19.95 for 100'at hamilton marine.i don`t mind paying double but thats my limit.with that in mind when you sit back an make a list of all the requirments of both a/c and d/c loads you will end up with 5amp,(electronic loads)15 amp 14 ga. wire lights,20 amp small refrig. and 30 amp loads.after making a list you go for a stock panel and it will be full with 20 amp breakers causing you to overload some circuits or to large a breaker for the wire gauge at the price west marine charges you could call for a panel with the exact breakers you need for the same price.a added feature would show the voltage at each battery if you have a isolated house and engine set up.
