The ones John shows are the same I have. They are the PSS Shaft Seals from PYI and I got them from Boat-USless or Worst Marine. I just checked the price and they are $225 each (cheaper than I mentioned above). Just measure the shaft log and the shaft size. As far as the cooloing water it takes less than a half hour or so. I just tapped into the raw water just before the heat exchanger. 1 1/2 inch straight through with a 3/8 T PCV from the hardward store. Just cut the hose slip in the T and run the 3/8 line back to the stuffing box.

I know nothing about the other type mentioned below and I am sure they are a fine product. But I know alot of people that use these with no troubles. Definitly worth the money in piece of mind.
