Mike,

Charlie's post refers to the fact that the "Moppie" nametag applied to the bridgeless Bertrams (20, 25, 26, 28 and 31). The "Images" page of this website is a good source for photos of the various 31s, and my Sportfisherman "Island Girl" is shown with an aftermarket bridge stripe. I flipped through the "Legend of Bertram" book, and as was posted above, only the 1980 20th anniversary and 1985 25th anniversary models are shown with factory stripes. Those stripes follow the top of the bridge and run down to the bridge deck.
