The truth of the matter is I cannot afford to take a 60K hit if something really bad happens. I'd be out of boating for a long time. Besides, that 60K does not even touch the hours of time and amount of pride I have in the work thus far. I faxed 37 pages of receipts for parts to Boat US and directed them to my website to see that the work was done, but they still need a survey to make sure the repairs are worthy of being insured. Guess I can't blame them.

I'll be contacting my surveyor today.
