I'm going thru just about the same thing. Almost. I had the boat insured for $35,000US. But it's worth $65,000US. Boat/US wanted enhancement bills. I had none. I just had the boat suryved for $372US and the guy said "no problem @ $60,000US. So I'm switching companies. Frig Boat/US. Who needs 'em.

Insurance is the transfering of loss to another party. If there is a loss, you don't want to pay. So the insurance co gets the loss. You pay the premiums.

Why not show Boat/US the bills for all the work done and increase the value at the re-fit progesses?
