Non Contact Phototachometers

Looking at getting myself a non contact tachometer and can only vaguely recall previous threads regarding these.

Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding what brand and model etc?

Looking at Grainger's offerings I see some by Extech,Ametek or TIF that look like they'd work for me....I'm only looking to check shaft and harmonic balancer rpm's.
