Randall, well said. My 'diatribe' was not meant to offend anyone - well guess the Ambulance Chaser would have taken it that way, but that's his problem.
The fellow that was offended is a newbe here and does not understand this group yet. Let me try to explain. This is not your ordinary internet chat board. Over the years most of us have become close personal friends, met each other and our families. Do serious boat and personal favors for each other. Financially support this place. Show deep respect for each other, and don't tolerate personal attacks.
Now on the other hand, I speak here now and then about public issues since I'm talking to my closest personal friends, like we would do around the dinner table. To say we are a diverse group is the understatement of the century. I respect everyones views and know they respect mine.
This is a fun place where an incredibly diverse bunch of people from all over the world have formed life long, and deep, really deep, friendships and trust.
I don't blame you for viewing my blast of the Ambulance Chaser as a diatribe, but it was just talking to my friends over dinner. So please stay here and enjoy the talk about the Best Boat Ever Built. From your prior posts seems you have a legitimate interest in the B31, and you are welcome here.
