Patrick - the fuel lift pump is just not strong enough to lift the feul that high. I had an identical problem on my Phasor 5.5 and solved it with an electric in-line fuel pump on the tank side of the Racor wired to run when the gen switch is on. Also handy for priming the Racor when changing filter elements or draining crud.

The safety shutdown system is as simple as pie - the 12 VDC that keeps the run solenoid open passes thru the hi temp and low oil pressure sensors in series, and if one of them opens, the juice to the solenoid closes, shutting it down.

I'll bet you a red drink with a shooter it's the fuel pump need an aux. to help it out.

We'll be staying at the Ocean Holiday Motel on AIA north of the show right where A1A splits and the southbound lanes go a block inland and the norhbound lanes are on the beach. Next door to the Casa Blanca restuarant. My cell is 225 937 1319. Our hangout is Ric's suite on the top floor, room 401.
