In a way Dug was 100% correct. As far as I was concerned, it totally sucked to be a Yankee fan right after game 7. But after letting it soak in for a while, I am still happy to be a Yankee fan and can bask in the knowledge of all the pennants and Series Championships that the team has won.

Now realize, I am not taking anything away from the Sox, it was a remarkable achievement. However, I get a kick out of many Boston fans that feel this one series victory over NY erases everything that has happened in the past between these 2 teams. As far as I am concerned, this is actually the dawn of a new day as this rivarly will probably intensify.
