B20 Hull Numbers....(?)

About 100 messages down is a string on "Bertram 20 Survey," asking for hull-number details on all known B20's.

I've looked in the recommended locations, but can find no evidence of a hull number on my 1966 B20 hardtop.

(The two suggestions were to look on the transom, and on or near the forward bulkhead, up under the gunwale molding. No sign of anything in those locations, along the stringers or on the inside of the transom. There might have been a rectangular hull-ID plate or card on the inner portside of the transom--just because there's an off-colored blank patch in the otherwise-green fiberglass matting--but that's the only vague suggestion of what might have been an ID plate or patch.)

Does anyone know if the hull numbers were consistently stamped right into the hulls--or if they appeared on some kind of plate or placard? (And where else I might look?)

Thanks, in advance, for any additional tips....
