My brother and I are currently redoing a 1963 Sportfish model. The old Chryslers have been pulled, and stringers and bulkheads repaired or replaced as needed. New engine mounts have been fabricated and the Yanmar 315's are sitting on the engine beds waiting for installation. Shaft, rudder and running gear upgrades are in process. New engine boxes and complete deck and cockpit have been ordered from Alex Whittaker on the left coast. Hope that will all be complete in the next month. All elecrical systems and stering systems are being replaced as well. My boat is located in Hampton Bays Long Island. I will try to get some pics posted.
