Thought I'd pass along a neet product I came across at the Annapolis Boat show this past weekend. (disclaimer...this is an un-solicited, un-rewarded, and limited tested product review.)

After suffering for over 2 year's I've finally fixed my AC/Heat. A little over a year ago I had a friend check out my Cruiseair compressors as heating & cooling left a lot to be desired. Freon checked good and he thought it had to do with the gauges or expansion valve? But without the wiring diagram for the cruiseair, it was more than a case of beer job.

Well at the annapolis boat show this year I ran across a booth which said "replace this.." ( the old dial gauge ac control) "with this.." a cool looking ac control, like you see on the new bubble boats. Show price $348 or something like that & do it yourself.

Installation was straigt forward, though I did have a couple of extra wires to my fan, which I later found were for low/med/high speed. The rep at the show told me to hook up the high speed and terminate the others.

I've now got hot heat & cold air (water temp was only ~60 degrees). Better than that when the temp is reached the fan and compressor kicks off. When there's more than a 2 degree change either way everything kicks back on. No more 1/2 freezing in the middel of the night....

Here's the link & feel free to e-mail me with any questions or comments.
