I've usually use the west system for my little projects here and there...always have good results. then one day, i tried MAS and had a problems getting the resi to cure all the way...it cured hard enough from a structural standpoint, but had just the slighlest bit of tackiness to it even after curing for several days. I figured it was a problem with the mix ratio in the pre-packaged pumps that i bought in a kit with the resin...so i tried mixing it by hand with measuring cups. Never could solve the problem. Made sanding and fairing a total pain in the A&% cuase the paper could clog almost instantly.

...this doesn't mean the stuff is not good - merely that I couldn't figure out how to use it properly. I've since gone back to west system.
