60's hulls, shaft angle, etc.

Does anyone know what years were the thicker glass hulls? What year did that end? I've also noticed the angle of the shafts seem different on earlier hulls. Any insight on good or bad on this? And have heard the the later model thus needed the larger Capt.Patrick rudders. I know there are a few questions here. Anyone shed some light on this?
