Yeah, you too. My wire method now is linear twist the wires, then solder (I use a torch, diesel boat), then some Penetrol over the soldered joint, then small heat shrink, then a larger glue lined heat shrink that overlaps the first. I use nothing but Ancor tinned marine wire. I cut open the soldered connections from the old pump and they looked just like new.

Takes a little longer, but this method, coupled with liberal applications of CX on switches, breakers, wiring harness plugs, electronics connectors, etc has virtually eliminated electrical problems on AJ.
