Just back from the camp and the water level is back to normal but the whole area stinks from all the water over eveything. Piles of soggy carpet by the side of the roads all over. I got my shop downstairs pretty much dired up with a big blower, but the downstairs beer frig. is fried. The condenser fan went under and froze up. So I took - what else - the Corrosion X to it last night and got if freed up, but won't run, guess burnt it up trying to be a water prop rather than a fan. On top of that the swamp water got in the insulation on the frig and it stinks to high heaven. New frig in order and add some to the platform it sits on to get it up more. Total of about 21" over the floor, and it stayed there for several days.

Installed new washdown pump and while I was at it discovered the bonding wire to the stb. strut was broken off where it attaches to the bonding strip, but did not fix it due to extreme heat and lack of right materials. Guess that explains why the shaft zincs on that side are pretty good and the ones on the port side are gone. Been wondering about that. Will fix next week. About time to take AJ to the yard for a bottom job and prop tune up and new zince.

If you have a place by the water sooner or later you will be in it.

Bride & me went for a nice ride with Moonie & family on his trawler yacht down to the Prop Stop for lunch, but it got flooded out, probably won't reopen till next year. Moonie has a rear view mirror on the f.b. windshield, and I guess it's there 'cause he don't pass no one, just vice-versa. Nice boat, tho, but ought to come standard with a bottle of Just For Men hair color, since you will turn gray on it. Just kidding Moonie, your beer was cold.

Andre' - RR is fine, the 10' of rub rail on the port side that got tore off when she came down on a bolt holding those 4x4's you put the pilings should not be too hard to replace. And did I mention the list? Oh yeah, your new lot flooded, but none of mine did.

Yo Fren'
