You know, when I was looking at autopilots, I needed to choose between the Simrad and the Raymarine.

Feature for feature, they were about equal.

What it came down to was the electronics guy who would be working on them, installing it, etc. He sells and installs both. He liked the Raymarine, so that is what I went with.

Same with the engines. I picked the engines as much based on the mechanics I wanted, as the engines themselves. Fortunately for me, I got a match between the mech. I wanted and the engines I wanted!
