I agree with you on the good mechanic. That's what I did before I purchased. I did not want Volvos but as I learned they were good engines but just not as many mechanics available to work on them that know their stuff. On a repower I would go with Cummins if I had a choice but I plan on keeping what I have for many more years. I only have 1150 hours on mine now. Dave K
