Ditto what Charlie said. It is the gague that shows you have high pressure on the shift side of the gear, and all it's really good for is to tell you you have oil in the gear. When you shift from F-N-R it will go to zero and then back up. If you bust a hyd hose and the gear runs out of oil, the shake will tell you there is a problem before the gague. Not really a necessary instrument on the boat, so don't spend any money replacing it, especially on the Felony Theft Boat.
