concerning cockpit height or freeboard--the deck was raised as bertram increased the size of the fuel tank--the latter boats were the highest---i know that my 1970 had a 175 gallon tank and my current 1977 has a 220 -----i also think the some of the very early boats had possibly a smaller tank as their decks seem even lower.
